Dear Parents,
We started new rotations this week. On Tuesday, the kids rotated to Ms. Kline’s class to learn about the Solar System. We also started our Book Clubs today. My group learned about non-fiction texts. Mrs. Verga’s group started a novel set as part of the Jr. Great Books and Ms. Kline’s group started a book from the college of William and Mary. Ask your child what s/he learned!

Parents-I sent an email through IXL giving your child’s username and password. I encourage your child to go onto www.ixl.com and click Third Grade. Your child can start practicing your math facts! The great component to the program is it will tell your child when s/he has reached mastery of the standard, then they can move to the next standard. I receive weekly reports on how each child is doing. Thanks!

Our students have happily been playing First in Math in class. I hope you’ve had an opportunity to play at home. If you’ve lost your user name and password, please let me know and I’d be happy to give it to you again. How many stickers can you earn this week?
